What documents and ID do I need to rent a motorcycle?
You'll need a valid passport or national ID, and an International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended if you're from outside Indonesia. A valid driver's license from your home country is also helpful. We keep copies of your documents during the rental period for our records.
What's the minimum age to rent a motorcycle?
Renters must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. For larger motorcycles (over 125cc), we recommend riders have some experience. We're happy to help match you with the right bike for your experience level.
Do I need an International Driving Permit (IDP)?
An IDP is highly recommended and makes the rental process smoother with local authorities. While not always mandatory, it's your best protection when riding in Bali. You can obtain one from your home country's motor vehicle department before traveling.
Is insurance included in the rental?
Basic insurance coverage is included with every rental to protect against major incidents. We recommend reviewing the coverage details when you pick up your bike. For questions about specific coverage limits or optional additional protection, contact us before booking.
What happens if I damage the motorcycle?
Minor wear and tear is normal and covered. For damage beyond normal use, you may be charged a repair fee depending on the extent. We'll assess any damage together when you return the bike and provide a clear explanation of any charges before processing them.
Can I extend my rental period?
Absolutely! Extensions are available subject to bike availability. Simply contact us before your rental ends, and we'll confirm availability and adjusted pricing. Extended rentals often qualify for better daily rates, so it's worth asking.
Is delivery to my hotel available?
Yes! We offer hotel delivery and pickup for guests staying in Cemagi, Canggu, and surrounding areas. Delivery fees may apply depending on your location. Contact us with your hotel details and we'll arrange the most convenient pickup time for you.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 24 hours before your rental start time receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee depending on circumstances. We're flexible and happy to discuss options if your plans change—just reach out to us as soon as possible.
Do I need riding experience to rent?
We rent to riders of all experience levels. For beginners, we recommend automatic scooters which are easy to handle and fuel-efficient. We'll match you with the right bike and provide a safety briefing before you ride. If you're nervous, we're here to help.
